Philipp Lahm is one of the most shining player at Bayern Munich successfully destroyed Manchester City 3-1 in the Champions League. In fact, coach Pep Guardiola played as a winger, although the original position is a wing defender.
Responding to the Guardiola praised the capabilities of Lahm. Even former Barca coach says that it is not impossible that the player can play as a striker!
"Midfielder that we have suffered an injury, but we are fortunate to have Philipp Lahm, who can play in that position," said Guardiola according to the NY Times reports.
"He is one of the best full-back in the world. Yet if I play as a striker, he would be a very good striker," added the coach.
Guardiola has now become the talk of football fans after playing style which she carries with Munich in the Champions League to make City under pressure for most of the match.
